Dutch law requires these details to be on the site. Fill them in before you take a single order.

The agreement

These terms apply to every order placed on thepaddledog.nl. By placing an order you accept them.

We may change these terms. The version on the site when you order is the version that applies to your order.

How an order works

1. You place the order and pay.
2. You get an automatic confirmation email. This confirms we received the order. It is not yet acceptance.
3. The contract exists when we email you to say the order has been sent.

If we cannot fulfil an order, for example the size is unavailable or the price was listed wrong, we will tell you and refund you in full. We are allowed to refuse an order.

Prices

All prices include 21% Dutch VAT and are in euro. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay, as set out in our Shipping policy.

We try hard to price correctly. If an obvious pricing error slips through, we are not obliged to sell at the wrong price. We will contact you and offer the correct price or a full refund.

Paying

We accept the methods shown at checkout, including iDEAL, the major cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is taken when you order.

The products

Every piece is printed to order. Colours on your screen will not match the garment exactly, because screens vary. Small differences in print position between individual garments are normal for this method and are not a fault.

Measurements in the size guide are of the garment, taken flat, not of a body.

Cancelling and faults

You have 14 days to change your mind, and two years of legal guarantee against faults. Both are set out in full in our Returns and refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care.

We are not responsible for business losses. These terms cover consumers buying for personal use.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Dutch law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything in these terms.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has used it.

Our designs

The Paddle Dog name, the wordmark, the chapter crests and all artwork on this site belong to us. Buying a garment buys you the garment. It does not buy the right to reproduce the artwork.

Complaints

Email info@thepaddledog.nl. We reply within 14 days. Tell us what went wrong and what you want us to do about it. We would rather fix it than have you write a review about it.

Law and courts

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country, which it usually does.
